Map personalisation

If you are looking for a truly Unique Map, you should consider my map personalisation service.

There are almost no limits to how I can personalise a map. Really, whatever you can think of, I can usually make it work.

Do you want your house coloured in? A secret message hidden on the map? A custom map centred on a beach in Cornwall? I have done it all.

How to personalise your map

Before you add a map to your shopping cart, click 'yes' to personalise your map.

You can type anything you like in the box. You could describe an illustration or location. The romantic message you want added to the map. If you run out of space, don't worry, you can send us an email with extra details.

All of my personalisations are tactfully added to the map so that they authentically blend in. (Unless, of course, you want it to stand out - I can do that too.)

Examples of map personalisation

Here's an exciting one to start with! This customer wanted a statement piece for her dining room. I think this screen printing style, with a bright bold font on a vintage Ordnance Survey map of Cornwall, looks sensational.

Here's a close-up of what a similarly personalised map looks like when printed on paper.

This map was for a customer who bought a windmill in France... simple, but very effective.

This is one of my favourites - an old map of Ireland, with modern whiskey distilleries added, for a whiskey lover.

I really enjoyed working on this incredibly detailed and romantic personalisation.

Or I can simply add a short romantic message...

I can add highlight your house or street to make it stand out. And if your house was built fairly recently, it doesn't matter - I can tactfully add your house to an older map, and even put the name of your house on the map!

I can add your Scottish clan name, tartan, coat of arms and motto. (This one is very popular, as you can imagine.)

Or if you're not Scottish, how about just your family's coat of arms?

I can put a "pin" on the map for everywhere that you've lived, or travelled to, with your favourite Latin phrase underneath the cartouche.

I can even create a new stamp, featuring your grandfather George! (This is the World of Stamps map.)

Or, if you're looking for something to put on your office walls, I can put your business on the map - literally. This one has been aged as well.

Here's another nice coat of arms, which we created from scratch and added to the cartouche.

I don't really understand this one, but someone wanted a small hand-drawn stickman added to a map - so of course we obliged.

And finally, here's a lovely one where I added a heart to a map of Paris where a couple got engaged...
