Old US State Maps

I carry a wide selection of maps from the 1600s to the early 1900s, chronicling the emergence of the United States of America from just a few East Coast colonies, to the Louisiana Purchase, to the founding of California, the Republic of Texas, Oregon Trail and the settling of the Pacific Northwest.

For early settlers, maps were essential for navigation and wayfinding. They were also used to document the new lands that were being explored and to plan for future settlements. Old maps provide a fascinating glimpse into the past and can be used to learn more about the history of the American West.
